Only bought this as a stop gap and used as a transport,to be honest I was suprised how good it was and how good it looks,ended up using it as a cdp but now I have my new transport it is time to move on,it is in Black and as new,boxed with remote You are welcome to have a dem and see how it fairs against a much more expensive transport and Dac. Think the new price is £250 not sure,sell for what I bought it for £110.

hi, i have for sale a mint condition (boxed + original receipt) Bryston b100sst including the optional (amazing might i add!) mm phono stage upgrade. current retail is £4900 + £650 this was an 0740 model meaning it was made week 40 2007 and has 16 years left of it's manufacturers warranty (fully transferable) honoured by pmc speakers in the uk. this has 9/10 of everything a bp26/4bsst pre power delivers for the price of just one of those components. I've heard it drive speakers up to 9k magnificently (wilson benesch act's) alongside the wonderful b&w 800 series which have just been sold. this unit can be used as a pre or a power seperately in a home cinema system or the phono stage can be driven into another amp to spectacular results (i used to periodically put it into some valve amps as a change!) In a skilful re-sizing of the PL300 (the PL200 occupies approximately 1/3 the volume of the PL300), Monitor Audio's engineers have taken great care to preserve all the sonic virtues and design excellence of the larger speaker. By utilizing a re-scaled 6.5" version of the Platinum 8" bass driver and by re-configuring the Platinum mid-range Tapered Line Enclosure (TLE) to align co-axially with the PL200's HiVe®II bass reflex port, they have endowed the smaller PL200 with the spiritual essence of its universally admired range-mate.
